Appraisals & Certification Labs
All gemstones in The Pink Emerald Company Collection have full gemological data provided with each purchase and each gem is graded by a certified gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the most respected gemstone grading laboratory in the world. Gemstone evaluating and appraising is an art that requires many years of experience to master. A gemological diploma is essential, but reputation and business credentials are also very important. A good gemstone certificate must include information about the shape, weight and physical dimensions of a stone, as well as detailed analyses of color, tone, clarity and cutting quality. A color photo of the gemstone is also very helpful. DON'T BUY A GEM FROM A PIECE OF PAPER OR CERTIFICATE. ALWAYS SEE IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES FIRST OR MAKE SURE YOUR GEM DEALER HAS A GOOD FAIR RETURN POLICY. We can supply additional gemological laboratory certificates on any gem, if requested. We use fully accredited gemological laboratories able to perform Gemstone Identification, Diamond Grading, and Appraisals of Gems and Jewelry.
