The color availability of Pink Emeralds currently are in the very light to light color range. Intense colors are very hard to find and even light colors are commanding higher prices because of strong demand and very limited supply. Red emerald and Pink Emerald are both beryllium aluminum silicates colored by manganese plus 3 and chromium, among other things.
