Lower quality Pink Emeralds can be heated to darken the color.

The Peach type of material can be first heated to White, then subjected to 450 megarads Colbolt irradiation. It then turns to various shades of Green. Then it can be reheated to a uniform pale Pink.

Put in the sun for many days, the salmon color changes to rose. Use of oven or flame is used at times as a last resort to improve the color. Use of a 150 watt bulb can at times improve the color.

Once the color is changed, it is stable and is indistinguishable from naturally changed colors.
